A New Era in Off-Road Racing

introducing the G-ECKO Challenger One

The G Rally Team, led by Guillaume de Mévius, proudly unveils the G-ECKO Challenger One—an innovative off-road racing vehicle designed to redefine performance in the highly competitive Challenger category. This groundbreaking model represents a new chapter for the Belgian team, which has recently introduced its own brand, G-ECKO, symbolizing the team’s commitment to performance, innovation, and heritage.
The G-ECKO Challenger One retains the renowned reliability of its predecessor, the OT3, while introducing a fully enclosed body and enhanced performance capabilities, setting a new standard for off-road racing vehicles. Built for extreme terrains, the Challenger One is more than just a new car—it’s the future of rally-raid racing.

From a Workshop to a World-Class Team

Founded in 2018 by Ghislain de Mévius, brother of Guillaume, the G Rally Team initially focused on rally car maintenance and preparation. After taking on and advancing the OT3 project in 2021 with the support of the Red Bull Offroad Junior Team, the G Rally Team has transformed into a true manufacturer. Today, it boasts over 20 skilled professionals who share a passion for racing and a commitment to excellence. With an impressive finish rate of over 85% and podium finishes in a third of its races, the G Rally Team has quickly made a name for itself through hard work, professionalism, and a uniquely supportive team spirit.

“We’re a team where everyone has their place,” says Guillaume de Mévius. “We work together as a family, whether we’re in the workshop or on the race track, and everyone’s role is essential. Our success comes from this unity and our shared commitment to excellence.”

A New Name and a New Symbol

G-ECKO is more than just a vehicle—it’s a brand, built on a name that reflects the team’s vision and legacy. The “G” represents the team’s identity and the people behind the project, who work together like a family. Meanwhile, “ECKO” is inspired by the resilient gecko, a small reptile found in semi-arid regions.
A fitting symbol for a vehicle built for rugged environments. For the de Mévius family, the gecko has always held special meaning: Grégoire de Mévius, father of Ghislain and Guillaume, displayed a gecko symbol on his own rally cars as a tribute to his favorite landscapes.
